Marcus Avery Chamblin, 29, was charged in the October 12, 2019, murder of Deon O’Neal Jenkins, 27, and attempted murder of another gentleman in a vehicle while they were parked at the Circle K at 1500 NW Palm Coast Parkway. The second victim, who was also shot, started driving Jenkins and himself to the hospital; but stopped at Palm Coast Fire Station 25 at 1250 Belle Terre Parkway. Chamblin and co-defendant, Derrius Braxton Bauer, left the area after the early morning shooting and were arrested on October 16th in Clay County on Flagler County Warrants. Trial is expected to take up to a week.
